Can I rename objects in a group?

There are 2 places in which you can edit the name of an object.

From the Site Home page, you can double click on the object name to see the Object Properties. In the Object Properties you will see a field to edit the Object Name and a field for the Object Name Alias. If you edit the Object Name, you are changing the object name in the device, if the device allows. If you edit the Object Name Alias you are only changing the way the name is displayed in ODIN. If Object Name Alias is blank, then the Object Name will be displayed.

From the Configure Site page you have the ability to edit multiple objects at a time. From the Groups List, expand the group with the objects you want to edit. Click the Edit button and you will see a table where you can edit or create Object Name Aliases and Descriptions. Click Save after you have made all your changes.
