# How do I create a new schedule?

Create a new schedule by clicking the "+" icon in the header of the Schedule table.

1\. **Name:** Enter a name for the schedule or use the name generated when you choose the Reference Object.

2\. **Description:** Add a description to the schedule to be created.

3\. **Device:** The BACapp device in which the schedule will reside.

4\. **Ref Object(s):** Click the magnifying glass icon to see a list of grouped objects. Select an object to create a schedule for.

5\. **Weekly/Exception:** Click the tab of the schedule type to be created.

6\. **+ icon:** Click Click the magnifying glass icon to see a list of grouped objects. Select an object to create a schedule for.

7\. Schedule: Shows scheduled events on the weekly calendar as they’re created.

8\. **New Event:** The popup displayed when creating an event.

9\. Days checkbox: Select any day for which the event will be applied to.

10\. Time selection drop-down: Select any time from hours, minutes, and seconds drop-down. This will be the time the scheduled event begins.

11\. Value: The state the object will be set to at the scheduled time.

12\. **Release:** Check to release the value to default at the scheduled time.

13\. Save or Cancel: Click to save the new event or to cancel the event creation.
